How to Create and Publish Shifts

Creating Shifts
Navigate to Schedule.
The Grid View
- Rows: Employees.
- Columns: Days of the week.
Adding a Shift
- Click any empty cell.
- Start/End Time: Required (e.g., 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM).
- Role: Select the job this shift is for (e.g., "Server").
- Location: If you manage multiple sites, confirm the location.
- Notes: Optional instructions (e.g., "Patio duty").
Publishing
New shifts are Drafts (yellow/striped) and invisible to staff.
- Click Publish (top right).
- Choose Notify:
- All Staff: Everyone on the schedule gets an alert.
- Affected Only: Only those with new/changed shifts.
