Set up provider API credentials and custom webhooks

Keep integration access narrow and protect the signing credentials.

Step by step

  1. Open the integration settings with an authorized administrator account.
  2. For a provider API key, create it in that provider’s developer account and enter it only in the matching integration’s credential form.
  3. For custom webhooks, open Webhooks, choose the destination and select the required events. Keep signing credentials in secure integration settings.
  4. Review delivery results and rotate credentials when access changes.

Troubleshooting

Should I paste an API key into a support ticket?

No. Describe the provider, action and error instead. Keep API keys, webhook secrets and login tokens out of messages and screenshots.
